A HospoSure guide for councils and business programs · 6 min read

With decades of experience behind us, we understand the day-to-day realities of running a hospitality business. We have refined our approach to meet the needs of small operators, especially those in local communities who are often overlooked by big service providers.

This guide covers our track record, the results we deliver for operators, and how councils can partner with us.

Step 01 · track record

Proven track record and hands-on support from real experts

HospoSure was created by industry experts with real, on-the-ground experience. Our co-founder and head coach, Tim Noye, has personally delivered over 5,000 hours of direct support to cafes and food businesses across Australia, collaborating with state and federal governments, local councils, and business support programs where outcomes matter.

The concept for HospoSure was born while leading a major government-backed project as Head Hospitality Mentor. We noticed a trend: over 90 percent of cafes were launching without a business plan or a clear understanding of their numbers. Not through laziness, but because affordable, tailored support was simply out of reach.

That is why HospoSure exists, to offer simple, effective support that helps operators build better businesses without the overwhelm or excessive cost. We do not outsource. When councils or business programs engage HospoSure, their community works directly with real people who have real hospitality experience, and we stay with operators until they are sustainable.

Step 02 · results

Fast, tangible improvements with practical support

HospoSure cafe members learn how to:

  • Cost their operations effectively.
  • Create a sustainable, profitable menu.
  • Improve performance within hours, not weeks.

We work directly with new startups and existing venues, delivering practical results fast. Whether it is a small regional town or a high-traffic metro area, we tailor our support to local needs, consistently helping businesses strengthen their numbers, improve financial acumen, and operate with confidence.

Every community is different, so we never rely on generic advice or passive resources. HospoSure delivers regionally tailored, actionable support backed by hospitality-specific data and local knowledge.

Step 03 · approach

Smart tech with a human touch

The cafe business model is unlike any other, and it needs support to match. HospoSure has developed in-house tools that make business planning and sustainability easier, including user-friendly modelling systems and accessible training built just for hospitality.

Our team combines old-school service with modern technology, so operators get both personalised advice and tools they can actually use. We only work with partners who share our values, from ethical sourcing to honest pricing, aligning with reputable trade and foodservice providers to give local cafes the best options available.
